Drive space usage not being reported properly.

After the 1.9 upgrade, I started getting "DVR full" messages when the reported usage was only at 80%. So, I went out and bought an approved external 1TB drive, which works great except that it started using the internal drive (meaning it thought the external one was full) when the external drive was only reporting about 67% full. How can I either get the reported percentages to be accurate, or if they are accurate how can I convince the DVR to use all the available drive space?

The Motorola Boxes have long had difficulty keeping the 'books' straight, and often report considerably more space in use than actually is. The fix is simply unplug the DVR for about 30 seconds, and plug it back in. That causes the DVR to inventory the saved content, and accurately calculate the available space. On the160gb units, the two tunner buffers will consume about 10% of the available space, so if you have over 90% in use, you are probably in trouble.
