One of my standard set top boxes is now displaying the message "EAS" and the TV will not work.  It was working fine the other day.  What does this mean and how do I get things working again?

Mine too.  I unplugged the set-top box/DVR and that reset things.  It fixed the problem.

I am having the same problem also. Turned my TV on this morning and the message was on. Any ideas on how to fix it?

This is about the 100th problem I have had with Verizon's {please keep your posts courteous}  service...

I also had the "EAS" message on my box too. I did unplug it and plug it back in and it was working again, however I have no picture on my tv. I do have sound? How do I get the picture to work though?  Thanks!
