I have my entire home theater run through a Pioneer 1021 receiver via HDMI. The only problem I have is that ESPN HD (channel 570 here) is super glitchy about 85% of the time it's on. No other channel has this problem (HD or not). I've tried numerous settings on my Pioneer receiver but to no avail. Any idea wha could be going on with just that channel? Thanks in advance.
Something screwy is definitely happening with ESPN HD for a bunch of us. There have been several threads and theories, but I don't think anybody knows exactly why it's happening. I've had ESPN HD issues on the FiOS DVRs and STBs and also on the Tivos I had for a couple of weeks. No other channels consistently provide the pixelation and picture/audio skips that ESPN HD does. Sadly, I'm learning to live with it. (I will say that only one other channel displays similar traits - TBS. However, it doesn't happen as frequently as ESPN HD.) It's also worth nothing that when I had Directv, ESPN HD would experience quick audio/video dropouts.
I'm having the same issue with ESPN HD..... Very frustrating. No word from Verizon?
