I rented a movie and can't watch it...and the time remaining to watch the movie is still running. Been on hold with Verizon for 45 minutes. What can I do to fix this because the way it looks the remaining rental time will run out before I get to watch the movie

Have you tried resetting the set top box? In most cases that fixes things.
