Has anyone heard an update on when Verizon will start streaming more content (like all of our channels) to its ipad app within the home network? Also, same question on streaming recorded content from your DVRs like other providers offer. I am not expecting to be able stream outside of the house, just in the house for content that we already pay for and in effect would be using the ipad as an additional TV.
That leads to the question of what is the status of the Verizon Media Center (or whatever it's now termed) that was mentioned in the press more than a year ago where the device would replace the DVRs and be the central control for home entertainment and would stream to any device within the house?
Theres been talk of such, but no announcement as of yet.
