Are we able to connected an external hard drive via the available e-sata to increase the recording capacity?
Are we able to browse the Media DVR from a networked pc directly and watch on the computer? or we will need an extra regular box attached to the computer?

No, you cannot. No Motorola DVR anywhere supports any form of storage expansion.
Verizon is expected to support storage expansion with a new DVR early next year.

No, you cannot. You cannot access DVR recordings with a computer. That is a TiVo-only feature.
If you want to watch TV on your computer, you'll need either a QAM tuner (locals only) or another set-top box connected to either your monitor or a capture card on your computer.
