Last 'Fall, after a year of having FIOS HD, MSNBC in HD started breaking up or freezing for a few seconds,. Would clear up on its own. and This recurred every few minutes.few minutes. Then frequency and length of the problem increased. Then started blacking out too. MSNBC became unwatchable. Then problem started spreading to CNN and other stations. Kept calling Verizon Support, but got no suggestions that did anything.. Eventually. a woman in Support told me that Verizon was aware of the problem, was working on a solution, and expected to have a fix in January 2013. Sure enough, one day in January the problem suddenly disappeared.
A week or 2 ago, however, the problem suddenly came back on MSNBC, and now is getting worse, just like before. Is Verizon aware of this? Is it working on another fix?.When is it expected to be in place?
In the meantime, does any FIOS subscriber have a suggestion for temporary relief that has worked?
