FIOS Remote Setup to Control TV Input Source.

I use my TV as a second monitor for my computer.  That way, I can check my email when I hear it come in without leaving my chair by flipping between the FIOS TV input and PC input on the TV.

But, I have to use two remotes to do that as I haven't been able to find a way to program my FIOS Remote to change the TV Input.   My TV is a new Panasonic Flat Screen, and I have to use the TV Remote to change the Input.

Has anyone figured out how to do this?  I have the other functions, such as volume, On/Off and channel programmed.

Thanks.

I am surprised it does not work for you. I have a Sony LCD and my Verizon remote switches among the various inputs on the TV just fine. Are you pressing the TV button on the remote before pressing the Input button? That is necessary for the command to be sent to the TV, otherwise it goes to the STB (and does nothing). If you are pressing the TV button first and it doesn't work, I suggest you try the other codes for Panasonic TVs to see if perhaps one of the others might control your TV and also support that function (0078, 0277, 0677, 1437, 3003, 3017, 3018, 3036, 3038, 3049, 3057, 3061, 3063, 3065, 3068, 3079, 3086, 3092, 3104, 3110, 3112, 3113, 3122, 3129, 3130, 3133, 3135, 3149, 3152, 3177, 3185, 3191, 3193, 3194, 3197, 3209, 3215, 3217, 3223 are the ones that Verizon has on their website ).

Other than the above, I have no ideas. Sorry.....
