FIOS TV down until Monday morning

Got home last night at 11:00pm and found neither my 3 stbs (qcp-64xx) or my 2 digital adapters working.

All had power but no signal. Tried re-booting and unpowering but no success. My phone service and internet access are okay.

Called the FSC this morning and was told that a tech would need to be dispatched and the earliest would be Monday morning.

Don't have an antenna on the house. This sucks.

What time did you call the FSC? Your post here is nearly 1pm on sunday afternoon.  Assuming you just got off with Verizon, that sounds pretty good to me. You call in and let them know that you have a problem on Sunday afternoon and they will be out to fix monday morning? Sounds like excellent service to me. Granted you've been without service since last night but they didnt know that you were down until you called them. Now if you called last night and they couldnt get to you till tomorrow, then I could see there being a little gripe there. Personally I think next day service with any company is good service.

Did you eyeball the ONT and splitter(s)? Made sure a racoon hasn't pulled off a cable;-) Or maybe a neighbor? Was a Saturday nite after all.

I'm Not complaining that Monday morning commitment is unacceptable. I just retired from Verizon and know the sop. I'm just saying that not having an antenna as backup sucks. Gary yes I did eyeball the ONT. All the LEDs indicate normal. Checked my RG6 connections and inside wiring with an ohmmeter and all test ok. At least the phones and Internet work.

Well, there is always streaming video

www.hulu.com for example. Or DVD's.   Yeah kind of sucks that you cant get OTA transmissions anymore without specialized equipment.
