Hello,

I have fios tv with set top box model # QIP7100-P2. I am connecting set top box to Yamaha RX-V 675 receiver via HDMI. The  HDMI output from receiver is connected with Epson 2030 HD projector.  The projector doesn't display HD channels in HD quality. I see blurriness and it is SD quality. All other video source like netflix from chromecast or blueray player works great.

I have changed HDMI cable. I am using monster's hdmi cable. I have also connected set top box to projector directly but i dont get satisfactory results.

My internet plan is 50/50 mbps.  The router is near set top box.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello manchu,

Thanks for reaching out to us. This could be down to a problem with the interfaces. There are some instances where HDMI specifications are not as tightly defined as they need to be for proper inter-operability between devices that are supposed to be HDMI compatible. Does your projector happen to have component ports? If it does, is it possible to have you test using that connection?
