FIOS web based programing is non-deterministic

This kind of behavior has been happening for several weeks, and rebooting the Quantum DVR has not changed it.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Is anyone at Verizon aware of this?

This has been going on for a long, long time. I remember having the same issues on the older legacy boxes as much as 2 years ago. Verizon for some odd reason never fixes it.

And I have never seen it in the 9 years that I have had FiOS TV, including the 6 months I have had Quantum TV.

I wonder what scheduling technique(s) are being used to cause that, that maybe I don't use. Most of the time I schedule recordings directly on the STB using the Guide with the Verizon remote (never with my phone), although I do occasionally schedule via the internet using my laptop, and I don't think I have ever scheduled a recording using Search.

Anybody see any connection between the technique used to schedule a recording and the resulting manual recording entry?

If my memory is accurate, this problem disappeared for about a year or more, and has now returned.

I have no idea if it is related to the non-determinism in the web based system manager behavior, but I think that both issues started around the same time - perhaps in the last month or so.

Has anyone else seen this issue disappear for a while only to recently return?

I rarely use the remote to program shows, so I have no idea if this non-determinism exists using the remote.
