I'm not sure exactly what I did differently than my last post, but it did apparently work for me.

 

Presumably you have ethernet & coax coming in from the ONT, and you have the coax going to your verizon router and the ethernet going to your google wifi.

 

Try doing this:

 

ethernet & coax -> verizon router -> google wifi

To clarify a bit. This setup should work fine only two points that I need to stress. Disable dhcp (basically access point mode) on Your non Verizon router, and plug a LAN port on your FiOS router into LAN port on your non FiOS router. Viola all on the same network
