Just curious.

Why do you want to use your own router?

I used to do that too, but then got a new router from verizon and my port connection limits went away.  If you are trying to get around the old crappy router only have 1000 nat port translations, that is fixed.

I DO turn off their wireless in their router and I bought a DLINK 802.11N wireless access point which I connect to the router they supply/.
