The most recent response from ticketing system within the app that I received a couple of days ago:
"We apologize for the freezing problem you're experiencing with the FiOS Mobile app. This is a known issue that has been affecting certain iPhone and iPad devices, and our development team is currently working to resolve it. We will send out another update once a fix is in place.
We apologize for the inconvenience."

thanks for keeping us posted! Support had told me it was my signal, my router, etc etc. Seeing that I can stream youtube fine, and the NBC app, and ESPN, and Amazon Video...I knew it was a Fios Mobile app specific issue. Wish they could turn around a fix quicker though....

I have many other devices all work with FiOs app EXCEPT my mini iPad iOS 9.3.5
I noted 123 views and 12 issues
I have tried all suggestions I have increased to the gig connections . I have reset the router. I have turned the iPad mini on and off many times. It freezes as all others before me have described and the app works on all other devices.
Fix the bug in iOS 9.3.5
I am looking forward to your Soluntions shortly

I have fios app 5.10 and my iPad 2 has iOS 9.3.5 and it no longer works. Same issue freezes after 10 seconds. Verizon IT sent me an email stating "we have an open ticket with their development group concerning the issue. They are working to find the root cause and resolve it. Verizon will be releasing a newer version of the fios mobile app."
Anyone else have a resolution or same boat as me?

Just looked up my iPad 2 Wi Fi purchase date...12/8/2011.
Guess that has some bearing on why my iOS 9.3.5 is listed as up to date.
