Hi all,
I’m in an apartment that’s setup with fios gigabit internet service. I would like to add fios tv, but can It be connected via Ethernet only? As I already have a switch there that the router feeds to. Or will a coax cable need to be run from the router/ont to the fios tv box?

clem53 is correct for the 1st set-top box. With FiOS ONE set-top boxes, additional ones can be connected via coax, Ethernet or WiFi. If you're considering two or more boxes this may give you some options.
Enjoy.

You need coax from the ont to a splitter, from there to router, and the STB.
