Flashing 8888

I am having a problem with my 6200 box, friday night I came home from work and my box was flashing 8888 and it would not turn on. I waited a while thinking it would clear itself up but it didn't so I unplugged the box and waited about 30 seconds and plugged it back in but still it flashed. Since it is my bedroom TV and I was tired I let it go for the night and the next morning I went on line and Did a health check and got an error So I then reset it and it said it was good to go but when I went back into the room it was still flashing. Is this a known issue or is the thing Toast? I am at work right now so it is impossible to trouble shoot it.

The only thing you can try doing again is unplug the cable box for about 5 or 10 minutes, try plugging it back in.  If you are still having an issue you will need to contact verizon either through the web or our tech support via phone.  Odds are need to replace it.
