Guide not showing "new"

My new system has the same guide but the word "new" is not put on the guide when there are new episodes. It makes it very difficult to see what you want to watch. I cannot seem to find this setting anywhere. Does anybody know where it is to turn it on? My app on my phone will show the "new" icon but not on any of my at home boxes.

So the word new is not on any programs?

I find that strange.

What model STB do you have?

Thanks for the info re: forums. I have a VMS1100 and 2 set top boxes but I figure if it gets fixed on one it may be fixed on all.

 

Slightly confusing to explain but if you are looking at the guide and see all the programs for the following 2 hours nothing will say "new" and that icon is missing - even when I know it is a new episode.

 

If you scroll down to it and see all the small icons on the right such as the rating and HD and such the "new" icon will appear in that small space but you have to highlight the program to see that.

 

It's not something that seems to have an option to turn it on but there must be a way - it is very strange.

Not sure where else you would expect to see new being shown.

If I understand correctly, it is showing up with the rating, etc.
