HBO Go authentication stopped working

HBO Go stopped working on an Apple TV yesterday.    I went onto HBOGo.com and tried to log in.     It sends me to the Verizon website and I log in successfully but it never sends me back to HBO.

 

My channel line-up still shows I have HBO and I have an email saying I have HBO until the end of the year.

 

I can't tell if it is an account problem or something about how HBO and Verizon work together stopped working.

 

There doesn't seem to be anyway to contact Verizon online anymore as there is no chat feature other than the virtual assistant (which is useless).

Definately a problem with Verizon.   If you have Verizon Remember Me or a tab opened logged into Verizon, HBO Go won't activate.     The workaround is logging out of Verizon, go to HBO Go, and select Verizon, then log in again.

 

You will actually see a totally different screen from Verizon depending on whether you are logged in or not.   Here is the screen that works.
