HD DVR BOXES

Does Verizon FiOS only offer the 6416 HD DVR box? Im thinking bout switching over from Comcast but i love my 3416 Box it was so much better than the 6416.

You can purchuse a TiVo and get cable cards put into them if you are interested. But that's about it.

Comcast's DCT3416 was just the DCT6416 without the analog tuners.  Verizon's QIP6416 hardware is very similar to Comcast's DCT3416.

I always thought they were the exact same box. But since they have different software anyway it doesn't make much of a difference the model of the box.

The difference between the 3416 and the 6416 or the FiOS 7216 should not be a consideration when switching from Comcast to FiOS. The first time you see the difference in PQ you will understand.

ok so you're saying the PQ on FiOS is that much noticeably better? Cuz the PQ from the DCH3416 is very noticeably better than the other 2 Boxes
