Hi I recently just got a new tv its a Samsung flat screen its a little bit older cuz it was my sisters, she gave it to me after she got a new one for christmas, but anyway I hooked up my HDMI cord to the tv and the FiOS set top box. It worked great for the last 3 weeks now all the sudden it stopped working. I was litterally sitting watching tv and it just stoped working and its saying on the tv the its on a "Not Supported Mode". I checked all the cords in the back and there is nothing unplugged and everything is where it needs to be. Does anybody kno what I can do to fix this or what might be causing this problem??

The first and simplest thing to try is the Universal Fix. Unplug the electrical chord for the STB for about 30 seconds and replug. Let it do its bootup routine. That fixes a lot of problems. Second, if that fails make sure that your TV has the latest firmware update. If it needs updating, do so and repeat number 1. Next, if that fails, try component cables plus audio as Samsungs have a somewhat checkered past with various STB and different providers. Report back if any of that helps. There is always the possibility of a systemic problem not attributable to the TV.
