I have a Motorola 7216 HD DVR connected to Verizon FIOS. I want to connect my laptop which has an HDMI output. Can I connect my laptop's HDMI output to my DVR as an alternate program source?
My TV doesn't have any HDMI inputs - only composite video is available.
Thanks...

Does your laptop have DVI and audio outputs? If so you could use a DVI-to-component adapter. If it only has a VGA output the yon could use a VGA-to-DVI adapter with a DVI-to-component adapter.

Then you would need a VGA to DVI adapter and a DVI to component adapter. I'll send you links in a private message.
