I have 2 Samsung LCD tv's (LNS4095 and LNS32A), both of which have digital tuners. I have recently moved and now have Verizon FIOS.
i am trying to not use the set-top-boxes since both are mounted on the wall. However, I have not been able to program the TV to recognize the signal. the cables in the wall both work.
I used the following steps:
- coax straight to TV (on the LNS40 to the cable-in connector (it also has an air in connector)) (on the LNS32 there is only one connector)
- TV menu: menu->Channel->auto/program. I have tried all 3 options: IRC HRC STD, but none of them work.
any suggestions?

First, with the exception of the "broadcast" channels all others are encrypted and can't be receieved without a cable box or a TV with a cable crd slot and a rented cable card from Verizon.
Second, you say you have a ":digital" tuner. Look in your manual and see if that is a QAM capable tuner. A look at the manual seems to indicate that it only tunes ATSC (broadcasty modutlation) NOT QAM (modulation used by cable companies).
