Hacked DVR?

Message 1 of 3
(1,000 Views)

Idk what is going on, but somehow all recorded shows/movies were erased from the DVR over the night but the most interesting thing is that second box shows me list of recorded items, which some of them are old (deleted long time ago) and some of them are even never recorded by me. There is no access to all of them anyway.

Any idea what is going on?

Thanks

Perhaps someone has access to your myverizon.com account.  The best thing that I could recommend is chaning your password ASAP and starting from scratch in regards to recording.

Jack:

This post is quite late, but here are my thoughts on your problem, for what it's worth.

DVR recorded programs disappear from LIST -- unplug, reboot, they may reappear; worked for me.

Box that showed weird recordings -- was this the " history " listing?  Probably this was not cleared from the previous Vz renter of the box.  Tech is supposed to clear all previous so nothing shows up for next user.
