I just had Fios TV installed in my house. My issue is when I turn on my TV, Receiver and PVR, there is no sound. To get sound I have to enter 'menu' then 'settings' then 'audio' and then toggle to 'Audio Format'. Once I click on Audio Format I get sound and everything is fine.
My question, how do I fix this issue without having to do all these steps each time I turn on my TV?

This is a known issue with the new PVR 7216 boxes and the optical sound port. Unit Verizon pushes out a software fix what I do is just keep the PVR on
at all times. Presto no audio drop.
