Help with switching to component output

Hi, im kind of a complete noob. i just had fios installed recently and i wanted to know how I switch from RF to Component video (rgb) on my motorola qip 72161dual tuner dvr? I believe the component  is an output. thanks

get component (red green blue) and composite/rca (red/white) and hook them from the DVR to the TV

Tune your TV to the Component input selection

Just as Bob said.

 

But it's not hard to mix up the two red ones if they are grouped together.

 

Before you spring big bucks for those locally, you should know that you can buy the whole set at many places online for under $10. Under $5 if you can live with 3 ft cables.
