Home Media DVR question

I recently signed up for the Home Media DVR service.  I have two DVRs - one in the basement and one in the family room.  I also have a hi-def set-top cable box upstairs (non-DVR).  I was under the assumption that I could record a show on either of my DVRs and watch that show on any of my other DVRs or set-top boxes.  Right now, I can only record something on my basement DVR and watch it on that TV or up in the bedroom.  I can't watch that recorded show on my family room DVR.  Nor can I record a show on the family room DVR and watch it somewhere else.  So only the basement DVR and upstairs set-top box are linked.  Is this how it's supposed to work or should all of my DVRs/boxes be linked?

Currently you can only due play back from 1 DVR to any STB.  You can not to DVR to DVR play back. The only option you have for a different configuration is to have Verizon switch which DVR is the MRDVR. If you would prefer to have your family room the one that is MR capable you have to call Fios support and they can switch the functionality. You would still ony be albe to view the recorded shows on the non-DVR box.
