It is just branding. Any internet speed over 50, the newest router, or the vms cable boxes.

Everything I've been reading on the forums says that Quantum is TV, not Internet. I have 50Mbps Internet--does that mean I haveFiOS Quantum TV?
Each of the three Quantum offerings types is seperate, so you can have have one without the others
The first announced use of the term "Quantum" by Verizon was Quantum Speed, i.e internet speeds of 50MB or above..
Then a little over a year ago they introduced "Quantum" TV service. You will know if you have it because you will have a VMS1100 server (and probably IPC1100's for other rooms) AND your VMS1100 will have the ability to record upto 6 programs at the same time. And you will have a extra charge on your bill for either Quantum TV Enhanced ($22) or Quanum TV Premiou ($32). Note some people may have a crippled VMS1100 that only recordd 2 channels at the same time, and therefore do not have true Quantum TV Service but a strange hybrid of old and new..
More recently they released their most recent Router and labeled it a Quantum Gateway Router. It added higher speed 802.11AC wireless support.
