Want to be able to also have "record capabilities from the QIP 7100 1
I know its just a software update that I can do....WHAT IS IT GOING TO COST PER MONTH ?
Would appreciate an answer from someone who is actually paying for this additional service.

Hello,
Pricing per month (national):
Single-room DVR - $16.99
Multi-room DVR - $19.99
Set Top Box (HD-capable) - $11.99
There are TV equipment bundled discounts available for having:
- a multi-room DVR plus set top boxes
- more than one set top box that is HD-capable.
The more regular STBs (HD-capable) there are on the account, the greater the discount.
Having said all the above, it is recommended to speak with a Verizon Customer Service representative to get exact pricing for upgrading your DVR to a MRDVR or adding a set top box on your account.
Depending on your length of TV service with Verizon, there could be existing promotions on your current equipment, or discounts in place where changes (addition/removal) of STB(s) could affect your monthly charges.
Verizon Customer Service can be reached:
via livechat at verizon.com/contactus
or by calling 1-800-837-4966.
Hope this helps!

Let me clarify...
The "record" capability is a choice I wish to have on the QIP 7100 1...and subsequent viewing
The recording would be done on the QIP 7216
