Log into your router by going to 192.168.1.1 - username should be admin and password could be any of the following:

password

password1

the serial number of our router (look at the sticker located on the bottom/side of the router)

There should be an option there to turn the wireless radio off.

If you are talking about the Verizon supplied router (likely brand -- Actiontec)  then the password for the router might be the router's serial number located on the service tag on the back. The serial number should be entered in upper case. Once logged in, search menu options for turning wireless off.  Not too hard -- support can help with this is you run into difficulties.
