I've got a FIOS HD package but some of the newer channels that are now offered in HD I get a 'must subscribe' message even though I get the channel in SD. When I click on the 'Subscribe' button I get a message saying I have to call Verizo. I've tried the e-mail and automated response system but they can't seem to understand what question I'm asking. I just want to know why I have to suffer through watching some programs in Standard Def when I pay for a High Def package.
Anybody know what the issue is? I thought I'd call but when I click on the telephone support icon in the 'Contact Us' page it just diverts me back to the home page. Any help you might have would be appreciated.

You have to have the Extreme HD package to get all the HD channels. If you still have the old Essentials package, any new HD channels verizon adds will not be included in your plan.

You probably don't have the Extreme HD package. You can go to the link below, enter your zip code and view what channels are available in the package you have & what channels are available in the Extreme HD package.
(The Extreme HD is worth it!)

When new HD channels are added, they are not a part of the old Premier package, only a part of the Extreme HD paclage.

The Premier Package is a grandfathered package that is no longer offered. I don't think the HD channels are updated in that package. If you are wanting the new HD channels, it would be best to upgrade to the Extreme HD.
