Are you sure its just not stretched on one of the sets (vs truly widescreen - that is contains more programming information horizontally).   Depending on the set, different things may happen when you set 480p in the STB.   On my sets, which are set to display in 16x9, when I set 480p they stretch the SD picture horizontally to fill the screen, but that's not a true wide screen IMG, just a stretched out SD IMG.

You're TV setting on the one TV is probably set to stretch because there is no 16:9 guide.

YOu were correct....

 

This is very annoying when streaming music or photos to the DVR, because there is alwaly annoying vidoe in the background.....
