Are we going to be able to tell what shows we have already viewed on the DVR? I sometimes come back a week later and can't figure out what the last episode I saw was.

Viewed recordings are a different color from those that have not been viewed - if that is what you are asking.  So in that case you will be able to tell what has been watched or not.

I have the same question. I am on VHO 06, Massachusetts, and so far no upgrade. How long is gonna take for Verizon to rollout 1.9 to all customers? A week, a month, 3 months? As far as I know nobody has a clue. By the way, I am former DirectTV customer and DirectTV upgraded software, I believe, at once for all customers . Verizon is very slow on any upgrade and this is no exception

Alden - @FiOSTV on Twitter ("Twitter Joe") said that MA/VHO06 (me included) will be in the "middle of the pack" for the upgrade. My guess is that it's probably 2-4 weeks away. The reason why Verizon staggers the upgrades is so that if something goes wrong or there is a major bug, it won't affect all of their customers at once. It's good business practice, even if it makes us impatient.

Major bug? Are you kidding me? As far as I know Verizon worked on 1.9 for almost 3 years, then it went through intensive Beta testing. If after all this  there can be MAJOR BUG, then it"s unimaginable... I understand Verizon concerns, but still Verizon has to dramatically improve their customer service. So many people complain ( me included) how difficult is to get to Verizon representative and how to fix something. From my experience DirectTV was better with customers...

Is there some way i can remove my 2nd DVR from being able to share?  I'm fine with the one I paid to have MRDVR capability shared through the house, but would rather keep the other one from the kids. Currently (I have IMG 1.9) both are available on all set top boxes/dvr's.

Try experimenting with parental controls to limit access on the kids' box.  You might be able to limit access that way.

Is there a way to enlarge the text for the channel in the new guide?

Nobody will test your software like an end user. No amount of system test, validation test, unit test, integration test, or even beta testing will rat out problems like going live in the field with thousands and thousands of users in the general population. I also came from DirecTV and, if I remember correctly, they rolled out 6.1 to a limited population, then when they didn't see a spike in support calls, or they were able to profile the calls they were getting and provide solutions for their CSRs, they rolled it out at a higher rate to the rest of us. I suspect Verizon will do the same thing.

try a reset of the stb Buffalo was one of the first places to get it.   Maybe it just needs a reboot to initiate the upgrade.

go to www.verizon.com/repair and do the quick fix for set top box and see if you can refresh and reboot the box.

OK, dumb question?  How do I know what VHO I'm in?
