IOS app can't cancel scheduled recording

Thr FIOS IOS app has recently lost the ability to cancel a scheduled recording. I can schedule a new recording but not cancel an old one.

The app says it is cancelling it, but the recording remains scheduled.

I have tried this on both an IPhone and IPad.

The remote control still works but I find the app much easier, especially since they changed the DVR colors.

I think this is related to the recent DVR upgrade, but am not certain since I don't remember the timeline exactly.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Turbo53. When attempting to use the FIOS IOS app to cancel scheduled recordings, does it timeout or provide you with any error messages?

Just deleted a show recorded on 10/26/2014

using:

VZ Fios 3.8.4.12

iPad 2 iOS 8.1

Turned on TV and checked that it was deleted.

Tom, I think the OP was refering to scheduled recordings, not those already recorded.  To the OP:  I see the same thing on the FiOS Mobile App for Android.  I think it might be a back end issue (not the apps themselves) since this issue is occuring on both IOS and Android devices.  I've made the app team aware of this issue.

You are correct.

Just scheduled on my TV a show for later today as a test.

Went to My FiOS on the iPad and it does not show up .

Other shows that I had previously scheduled are showing up on my iPad.

No error messages. It just doesn't cancel.

One of the other responses seems to misunderstand the problem.

It isn't about deleting a program that is already recoded. It is about cancelling a scheduled recording.
