I believe, after doing some research, that the multiple remote controls that I have tried to use with my Multi-room DVR are not working because of infared interference. How do I go about correcting this?
There could be a couple things causing the interference. Most common is the output of the TV screen and the box being too close to it. There is a solution for that, but we would need to get more information from you. The other is if you have those energy saving CFL lightbulbs in this room. There have been tested to cause some interference, sometimes enough to cause the remote to not work right. If you have these bulbs, please test by turning off those lights and try to use the remote. Please let me know your results.
