Installation

I am having FIOS installation installed in a new house this Tuesday.  My TVs can not be installed for 10 days.  In some rooms the TV connections are completed; in others there is a plastic cover over where you would plug wires.  Do I need to reschedule installation until after the tvs are fully installed?

The practical answer is yes, to wait, because the installer needs to be able to see that the STB/DVR is properly interfaced with the system and that your programming is available and signal integrity is sufficient. The installer needs to access certain menu items for the installation. If the installation is done without being able to see the fruits of the labor, you would need another truck roll should there be a problem. One alternative would be a small portable TV that could be hooked up temporarily and moved room to room as required.
