I saw a message on this board that indicates that an update was ready that may clear up the porblem of audio cutting out when using HDMI. Is that true, and if so, how do I update? This is been an ongoing problem on my setup.
The IMG 1.7 update is supposed to fix many issues. However, you cant update yourself. When Verizon is ready they will remotely push the update to your STB. You will have to wait for them to update. I believe they are supposed to be pushing out the update soon, but the will probably push by region so who nows when they will get to everybody.
The latest rumor I have heard is that Texas and California will get the update first. And it is supposedly scheduled for tonight. We will just have to wait and see. I imagine it will take several weeks at least to roll it out across the entire country once it starts.
