At least I am another new customer as of last Friday with an old DVR install, a 6416 model.

Everyone thinking about signing up think about many of our experiencs.

Yeah, I wish I had known this prior to signing up.  Who would have guessed that Dish Network would be so much more advanced than FIOS?

You can read my posts on here regrding the install experience. Most of Verizon customer service has been quite frustrating....

If you gotten the DVR free for life, they have been doing this regularly.

Up until recently they were installing mostly 7232 or 7216's.  But currently there is a shortage caused by problems in Thailand where many of the HDD used in the DVR were manufactured.  So they are using what they have on hand which is recycled 6416's.
