Since we have gotten the new upgrades over a week ago, the 2 DVR's that we have doesnt seem to skip great anymore. I have my skip set for 30 sec and I would be able to hit that button numerous times and had no problem getting back to the show. Now, when you push the button, sometimes it doesnt do anything...and very annoying. I wind up just using the typical FF button. I hope this can be resolved. Thanks!

You might try this, DanieH. Enter the settings menu for the STB and delete or reset to default your time selection for skip ahead/back. Close all menus, and do a hard reboot of the STB. Once its back up, re-enter the settings menu and enter your preferences for skip ahead/back as before. Close the menus and give it a try. BTW, a hard reboot is always a good practise after a software update. Thank you.

How do I do a hard reboot? Just unplug the box?

Unplug the box is one method, or you can reset the box from your "My Verizon" account page.

I took a look at my own boxes and sure enough this was happening to me as well. If i pressed it to fast it would look like it was skipping but remain at the same point in the program with a small blip in the picture when i hit too fast. If i slowed the rate at which i hit the skip button it worked fine(and by slowed i mean gave it at least .5seconds inbetween presses). I called the FSC about this and this is apparently another IMG bug with no ETR.

Thanks for the info! Are you saying this cannot be fixed until Verizon fixes the problem?

Very annoying bug. I hope they release 1.6.1 soon! (Of course I hope the bug is fixed in 1.6.1)

I didn't know you could change the amount of time it will skip ahead with that button. How exactly do you do it??? I haven't seen that setting in the menu.
