Local Weather on Weather Channel

Local on the Eights on TWC give LOCAL weather info on the standard def channel, but I only get national info on the HD version we recently got in Richmond.  Called Verizon and they couldn't explain - said they merely pass the signal they get from TWC.  E-mailed TWC - no response.  I know this is true for those with satellite providers, but should not be with FIOS.

TWC HD requires a brand new HD version of the Intellistar server (what creates the local forecast) to be installed at each VHO. Right now, there are very few places across the country that have these in place. Some boards mentioned some Cablevision systems having it, but not many - as some consider it still in a beta version.

Hopefully down the road VZ will add the HD intellistar to their VHO's.
