Lose of All FiOS equipment under extreme tempurature days.

I have had this issue for serveral months but mostly during the summer time. I live in sothern California and during the summer the temperature can reach close to 100 degrees F or higher. During these days, i tend to lose my connection for a period of time( 15-20minutes) and then i will regain connection. This "On and Off again" will contunie general untill sunset, when it begins to finally cool off outside. My BBU and "external box"/ i dont know what to call it... is located inside my garage. The wall it is attached to is in direct sunlight during the last half of the day but since it is located within the garage i didnt think it was a big issue. But now i believe there is a temperture issue with the system. Has anyone ever heard of this issue or anything somewhat related to this? Thanks
