I am in Rockland Cty, NY and have noticed that the volume on HD channels 502 and 504 are low in comparison to other HD channels. I literally have to turn it up when I am watching a program on these channels, yet once the commercials come on I have to turn it back down.
I do not have to tweak the volume on any other channels. I am running 1.8 on my HD DVR, where this issue occurs. Anyone else seeing the same issue?
Do you have "volume equalizer" on your TV? I used to have a similar problem with the volume quite a bit. I would have to raise it quite a bit for some stations and then lower it by a lot for others, until I activated "volume equalizer" and now that I have that option turned on, I watch all of my stations left on the same volume level.
Try that and see what happens.
