MR DVR not working

Just because of the success I had on the last post I'm going to give this one a shot.  I was on the phone for an hour last night trying to get my MR DVR working.  The DVR itselft works it just does not broadcast to the other TVs.  I have 1 HD box and 2 SD boxes.  If I want to watch SD content on another TV it does not work.

The SD box has a message that says the communication has failed and to reset the DVR and try again.  I have done this several times and it still does not work.

Please advise.

You sure that you have the MR-DVR service? Do you have a the software image of 1.6 on all your STB's?

OK that's right. So do you know for a fact the MR-DVD service is active? is your other STB the SD ones getting a IP address? You can see that in the STB settings, also you can make sure the router shows them with a active connection. FYI you don't need a network cable to get a IP comes from the coax

ok....all STB's have an IP address but I'm not sure how to make sure the router is showing them as active.

The should be if you have a IP, but in IE go to 192.168.1.1 and log into the router, you will see all network devices listed here.

I just figured that out....I logged into the router and the STB's show up but all the connections say inactive

That's the issue. Do you have DHCP enabled? I assume you do. If not enable it, then restart the router, then That's all the STB's, keep everything off for at least 30 sec to one min.

can you view your equipment on verizon central? I dont know if that matters or not. what error do you get now that all are active with IPs?
