I normally set up DVR Recordings online, from the TV Listings. But suddenly I cannot do that. Verizon does not seem to think I have a DVR for recording, even though a multi-room DVR is still listed in my equipment.

How long have you had this issue? I find that from time to time I see a similar message. Then some time later network connectivity is restored and I can set recording preferences online. Try again later and tell us what you find.
