Had Fios TV installed Nov 20, last Friday turned on tv to watch show. No signal.
Use hdmi cable from receiver to a/v receiver then hdmi to tv.
No problem until last Friday.Called tech support. was told problem was hdmi cable.
Replaced with component cable, worked fine. Told them I wanted replacement
receiver, which I received overnight. Replaced on Saturday but now the Fios TV
Central web connection won't acknowledge new receiver. Thereby I cannot use
computer to set-up my DVR. Verizon tech support has been trying to correct this
problem since Sat. Today it's Wednesday.
When I log into web I still see the old rec
eiver but with no data available. Anybody out there have any suggestions?

Just an update to my above mentioned problem.
Have spent hours over the past week trying to resolve this problem
with Verizon tech people.
Still have the same condition. I'm about ready to go back to Directtv.
Verizon doesn't have their act together yet.
Everytime I call Verizon tech they assure me the problem will be
corrected within 24hrs and sometimes 48hrs. I'm tired waiting.
Just thought the forum might be interested.
