I received a letter to say that if I continue to stay with Verizon after my service agreement expires, I get 3 months of free HBO and Cinemax. I called their customer service at least 5 times. One says the offer is good; 2 don't know about the promotion (one of which is chewing on her lunch as she is talking to me); one says she'll find out and call me back but she never did. Finally I reach someone who says it's not a problem at all. He enters in the system the movie promotion for me, but, put in the wrong start date, and I didn't get my free movies until 3 days later, after putting in another call. I mean, really, do they know what they are doing over there? Are they trying to cheat customers out of the promotion they are promised?
One REALLY REALLY has to keep an eye on Verizon....... they'll take advantage of you if you are not persistent in holding them accountable - whether it' s billing, installation, promotion promises....... everything!!
