For almost a week now the tv widgets that were in the rotation that were added in to launch from the rotation are now no longer in the rotation. This includes the ap widget, weather widget, pandora widget among other ones where they mysteriously vanished out of the rotation after having always been there. These are widgets that you can add in there so if you had them added all this time they are not there. If you go to the widget wall you will see them there where you can launch them from there to read the stories that come with the ap widget but if you try to add it again to be launched out of the rotation then will not launch so you have to go back to the widget wall to actually open them up. If you were to remove these widgets from your list of what you added to your widgets that you want then add those widgets again from the wall to try to launch them they still will not where if you want to launch them then you have to go back to the wall to open them. It may seem like a minor inconvenience but if you add something to the rotation to launch it from there then it should launch. The buick, american express, and other advertisement widgets all launch perfectly so if this is a glitch then it needs to be fixed by the verizon widget group. If this is sign of the fact that the ap widget is about to get dropped then people should be made aware of that. The youtube widget and what's hot widget also had a similar issue before they disappeared.
I see the same thing. Not one of the widgets that I have added to show on the rotation is showing. This is a change from a few days ago.
Looks like this mornign (Sunday) the problem has been fixed here in VHO8. All my added widgets are back in the rotation.

Some are back showing on the main widget page but some are not for me.

I just got the new img (interactive media guide)1.94 this morning where at 3:40 am the set top box refreshed and then appeared to have died for about 15 minutes. Then it came back and all was fine until i took a look at the widgets which were once again missing. There are no a p, weather, pandora or any other widgets that were added on. The default ones like the buick and american express one are there but not the ones that you had added so that you could launch them from the rotation. This is a issue that needs to be fixed not only for people who got the new img but for people in the future who get the new guide so that they too do not lose any widgets that they have added to the rotation. You can launch the widgets from the widget wall but if you have added widgets to the rotation it is something that you would like to be able to launch from there not from the widget wall. As far as the new guide release everything looks good except for the widget issue. The interaction between the remote and the set top box is a lot quicker than it was before. There were a lot of complaints about bugs with this new img release but i have found no issues except the widget one. I had mentioned late last year that a new guide release was on the way where i said it would be released starting in january or february but there must have been a delay because it was released in may instead. Another thing i mentioned was that it would be called 1.92 but they changed the name even though there does not seem to be anything new except for the speed of the set top box and remote response.
I reported this to Verizon over two weeks ago when 1.9.4 was deployed in VHO3, along with missing logos in the guide. These are still unchanged.
I don't begin to understand what either of you are seeing (or in this case, not seeing.....).
I have had 1.9.4 for several weeks now, I see the Weather Channel, AP, and Pandora widgets in the rotation and in my My Widgets list that I set up a long time ago, way, way before getting 1.9.4.
I also haven't noticed any missing logos in the Guide for any channels. I just went through my entire Favorites list and there is not a single log missing. Can you give me a few channel numbers to look for?

I was going to mention that there were channels that were missing their logos or had a wrongly listed logo on the wrong channel too PJL. I thought it might clear up if i gave it some time but it did not as i have several channels in my area with no logos or the wrong logo is listed on the guide for a channel that is not the channel that it indicates it is. It may seem as if it is no big deal and that you can just tune in to any channel at anytime but when you have around 2000 channels there the logo being listed actually makes it easier and quicker for you to determine what you want to watch. In my area channel 25 nyc tv has no logo. The style network at channel 160 has no logo. Antenna tv at channel 465 has no logo and neither does this tv at channel 490. WLIW world channel 473 has no logo and univision deportes channel 1524 has the logo of national geographic mundo which is actually at channel 1564. Then there is channel 313 gol tv which was dropped more than a month ago but it is still listed there on the guide. I did notice that the logo for channel 571 espn bases loaded switched from espn bases loaded to espn goaline because espn goaline will be back on august 29.

Justin, there are no logos in VH03 on at least channels 506, 510, 528, and 552. Some are local but 552 is a national channel. I suspect logos are managed at the VHO level, not the DAC level, which is why you may not have missing logos even though we are in the same DAC.
The same goes for the widgets issue. This problem had been resolved in late May but recurred when 1.9.4 was updated. I see plenty of widgets in the widget carousel but none of the those that I have in my fovorites list with the exception of the weatherbug widget which may be in the default carousel anyway. Specifically, I have the AP, FiOS Mobile Remote, and Pandora widgets the My Widget list and they do not show up on the cararousel.
I really think there is a likelihood that some late patches (hot fixes) were applied to the IMG software before IMG 1.9.4 that did not get rolled into the actual released version of 1.9.4. Another example is the password protection of the WiFi passworts that was briefly protected by a password but no longer is. I could be wrong.
