Wondering what video menu settings to use so that I can get the HD channels on Verizon FiOS to show up on my Sony Wega SDTV?
I had it set before my old FiOS box decided to die on me. New box is hooked up, but forget what settings I had it set to previously.
You have three choices to connect an SD TV to a QIP6416
1). If you SD TV has component inputs, you run component video with the QIP6416 set for 480i component video output or 480p if you Wega supports 480p. (it may not, but if it has component video inputs, it will support 480i).
2). If you don't have component inputs, you run either S-Video or composite video. Those are SD outputs that operate no matter what component video is set for. S-Video is higher quality than composite video.
