Motorola 7232 or Cisco Boxes in NYC?

I'm having Fios installed today and I received two Motorola 7216s.  Are the boxes with more storage already available in NYC? If so, where can I grab two, or should I call customer service and have mine swapped out?

Thanks.

At present the Cisco boxes are only in trial in Buffalo.

As for the 7232, I believe they are only in limited supply and there is no way to specify what DVR you would receive in a swap.  You could end up with the even older 6416 which does not have eSATA and won't support external storage - whenever the firmware is released to add that support.

GASP.... the 6416's wont support external storage?  Wow... guess once the 1.9 is available I will be calling and requesting a replacement box (7216 or equivalent).  I am so looking forward to adding additional storage.  Between the kids shows and our shows we run our DVR mostly between 80-90% capacity most times.

You might want to do that before 1.9 is available, because everyone else will have the same idea.

I just wonder when 1.9 comes out vs. the new crisco box.
