we have two DVRs and have experienced the same problem with both.
The problem occurs when we watch a program from one rooom that was recorded on the DVR in a different room.
The picture is very choppy (to the point of being unwatchable).
Does anyone know what the cause of this problem is or what action we can take to fix this issue.

We have the same problem however, it often occurs while watching the recording on the same DVR it was recorded from. Also, for example the new Dallas series was to be 2 hours but, the DVR only recorded 1:Minutes. I even went to the on demand feature and it was the same. Why does this happen? Makes no sense with all we are paying for these features and service.

try rebooting your router. the mrdvr travels through the router.
if that doesn't fix it, try clicking menu > customer support > in home agent > dvr fix (its named something like that)
