Multiple DVRS

Is anyone using multiple DVR's on one account?

This is my IDEAL setup dream:

DVR #1 in Family Room that only does 2 shows simultaneously.

DVR #2 in Living Room that has the Enhanced MultiRoom service with 6 simultaneous recordings and 100 hours recording.

Media Client in Bedroom 1 that can access DVR #2.

I do not want to access DVR #1 from DVR #2 or DVR #2 from DVR #1.

I've just put in a new TV One DVR (6 channel  recording capability) and three TV One mini units. All minis can see all material recorded on the main unit. The minis all have full control of the system. Just think of the main unit as a server.

I don't think the legacy equipment like you described as DVR1 is compatible with the newer gear.

If you want additional recording capability, you'd go with Premium DVR service, which gets you two of the main units that interact. 12 simultaneous recordings, 200 hours.

You can’t mix Enhanced DVR with regular DVR. You could get the Premium DVR which would be two 6 tuner DVRs. I think the client would see both DVRs though.
